Hi, I’m Kaitlin Maud. This is my site where I blog and stuff. When I’m not teaching myself how to hack WP themes, I’m a Strategist at one of Boston’s largest digital advertising agencies. I work primarily with lifestyle brands (including LeBron James/ LRMR and Sunglass Hut) and I support the New Business team.

When I’m not strategizing, I am an Equinox gym rat and dedicated Yogi. In August 2012 I will be starting my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training with Lynne Begier and Ame Wren at Back Bay Yoga Studio. I love to travel and I usually update my blog while in-transit on planes and trains. I devote a considerable amount of time to following Boston  sports and whoever is on my fantasy football team in the fall. My favorite brands are Apple, WWE, and lululemon.

I also run my own business, Rain or Shine Studio. We are a collective of freelance, creative professionals. I started Rain or Shine with my partner, Craig, in 2010 to support the digital needs of small businesses in a way that was flexible and affordable. Our services include digital marketing and social media; print and web design; web, mobile and app development, photography and videography; branding and identity work; and creative needs that don’t fit into boxes. We work with rappers, salons, start-ups and more… and we truly love what we do.

In the past, I’ve worked in Social Media at both a small advertising agency and in-house at a non-profit. Prior to that I interned in the Brand Promotions department at one of Boston’s largest agencies while completing my degree in Communication Design from MassArt. My musings on digital marketing have been featured on TNGG, The Boston Egotist, Bostinnovation, and OneForty and in 2010 I won a Hatch Award for Personal Branding. I’ve spoken about Social Media to groups at MassArt, Emerson College, Boston Graphic Artist Guild, and Microsoft.

I pride myself on being a multipotentialite and I explored A LOT of different paths, before I ended up in advertising.
Some of my favorite prior jobs and hobbies have included:

- Working in the marketing and promotions department of the now defunct WBCN
- Teaching expressive art to children
- Interning at a record label, working with Guster and State Radio
- Working in operations at a few different upscale hair salons
- Working as a make-up artist for an international cosmetic retailer
